What a spam flag actually costs you in connect rate

Reputation scores are easy to buy and hard to act on. Tying each carrier label back to answer-rate impact changes which numbers you rotate first.

A standalone reputation score tells you a number is flagged. It doesn't tell you whether that flag is costing you anything, which is the only question that determines what you do next.

Flags are not equal

Two numbers can carry the same carrier label and produce wildly different outcomes depending on the segment they're dialing, the time of day, and the carrier mix of the list. Ranking rotation by label alone wastes good numbers and keeps bad ones in play.

  • Measure answer rate per ANI, per carrier, per week
  • Attribute the delta to the label, not the list
  • Track recovery after rotation, not just the swap

Rotation that closes the loop

Filter flagged numbers out first, apply local presence matching, and keep wear even across the pool. Then — and this is the part most teams skip — measure whether connect rate actually recovered. If it didn't, the flag wasn't your problem.
